Band/Wire/Jet/Laser Cutting

Advanced band and wire-saw machines and laser and Jet-cutting systems make it possible to produce high-precision blanks in the form of bars, blocks, slices, rods and sheet of optical glass. We can also process overdimensioned stock measuring up to 500 x 500 mm, and we offer special material-saving cutting techniques for semi-finished wafer products.

Our suppliers also maintains an extensive inventory of colored optical glass (primarily Schott, Corning and Ohara).

Trico has access to the Corning distribution for:

• HPFS™ 7980 Fused Silica
• ULE™ 7972 Zero Expansion Glass for the ultimate in temperature stability
• and the Vycor™ alternative to quartz glass
