Polycrete™ is a non-metallic mineral composite material formulated by combining quartz aggregate, high bonding-strength epoxy resin system and selective additives. Other materials can also be incorporated into the mix to conform to specific application requirements, such as, adding/reducing weight, increasing strength and durability.

Polycrete™ replaces traditional cast iron, steel and aluminium, used to build machine bases and structural components in a variety of industries and applications. It offers superior vibration tampering properties, low thermal expansion coefficient and excellent structural rigidity.

Polycrete™ offers great design flexibility. Engineers can design complex structures with intricate shapes and incorporate features resulting in higher performance and more economical machines. Castings are often cast to precise tolerances thus eliminating secondary machining operations.
